Meet Urielle Klein-Mekongo

Creating theatre, film and live cultural experiences that inspire conversation, community and cultural change.

A LETTER FROM URIELLE

Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to visit Concrete Flower Productions.

Storytelling has shaped every stage of my life and career. It has been my way of exploring identity, building community and asking difficult questions with honesty, humour and hope.

Over the past decade I've had the privilege of creating work that has been performed on stages across the UK, collaborating with remarkable artists and organisations, and seeing first-hand how powerful stories can change conversations.

Founding Concrete Flower Productions is the natural next step in that journey.

My ambition is to build a home for bold original theatre, film and live experiences while creating meaningful opportunities for artists and building lasting partnerships across the creative industries.

Whether you're an artist, venue, investor, collaborator or audience member, thank you for being here.

I hope you'll join us as we build what's next.

Urielle

PRESS

★★★★★

It’s unapologetic, informative portrayal of Black love, Black power and a forgotten but hugely important aspect of Black British history. Black Power salute to all involved. Essential viewing.

Whatsonstage

★★★★★

It’s a beautifully crafted piece of writing, with precise direction and just the right mixture of laughter, tears, and the desire to act that are what make for great theatre.
